One of the main activities of DB Biotech is the custom design and production of monospecific rabbit clonal antibodies against any protein or its modification whose name, detailed description of the modification or amino-acid sequences are supplied by the project contractor.

DB Biotech uses a new company-client approach in antibody design and production as well as the communication with the interested customer. First of all, our company will analyze the given project, and the corresponding customer parameters regarding the antibody. The target protein is consequently analyzed based on various aspects of complete proteomic approach. The resulting designated peptide is used for the production of polyclonal anti-peptide antibodies. At the highest quality of preparation, pure clones of immunoglobulins are separated from crude antiserum by newly introduced „in vitro cloning“ technology which is the company’s protected know-how.

Custom services are agreement based projects with all the technical specifications and details such as the delivery time, minimum volumes and project/services costs, clearly defined by both parties. Our standard project lead time from the start of the project to the product delivery including the detailed protocol, is 4-5 months. We are proud to acknowledge that our current success rate is 90%.

The cost of custom projects depends on the level of difficulty we would be asked to accomplish, and will be quoted after we receive detailed specifications from our potential client.
